The Company

OTFC has been a provider of specialised Occupational Therapy services for children for well over 30 years. Veronica Steer (OT) founded OTFC due to the significant demand to provide specialised Sensory Integration Therapy for children in a personalised, one to one setting.

Veronica Steer is regarded as one of the pioneers of SI therapy in Australia and is not only a SI Faculty Member but also a recognised educator in Sensory Integration Theory and Practice.

With this solid foundation and under the current director, Dino Mennillo, OTFC strives to be innovative, dynamic but true to its Sensory integration roots.

 

OTFC offers a variety of services including:

  1. Assessment (formal and informal assessments, including written reports)

  2. Intervention (Clinic based one to one therapy, group therapy and school therapy)

  3. Support (collaboration between families, schools / kindys / childcare centres and other health professionals, prior to,
    during and post therapy)

  4. Home Programs (for rural or remote clients, for clients with only slight difficulty)

  5. Training and information workshops (parent and teacher sessions on Sensory Integration, child development, handwriting, behaviour, fine and gross motor development.

  6. Consultation (to parents, schools - program development, professionals)
